Our journey began at Colgate University—specifically, at the DU Football Fraternity house. For those who know us, that probably comes as no surprise, given our time at Colgate!

Leading up to that memorable Saturday night at DU, it’s hard to believe we hadn’t met yet. Our roommates shared classes, and we even had classes with each other’s roommates. They would often cross paths, say hello, and hang out, yet somehow, we had never been formally introduced.

At the start of sophomore year, more and more people kept telling us, “You have to meet Sully,” and “You have to meet Briggs.” And finally, on a Friday night at DU, it happened. From the moment we met, there was an undeniable connection—though, admittedly, a slightly confusing one at first!

From that night on, we found ourselves spending more and more time together. Whether it was studying, grabbing a late-night slice, or going out, one thing was clear—we wanted to be around each other. A lot.

By the end of sophomore year, we made it official! Since then, life has been an adventure—traveling between New York, Florida, and Ontario, making memories with the incredible friends and family we’re lucky to have across the U.S. and Canada.

In May 2024, Meg proposed to Kristen on the beach in her hometown, and later that summer in August, Kristen proposed to Meg up north at the cottage. Both moments were perfect, filled with love and surrounded by our closest friends and family.

To everyone reading this—you’re here because, in some way, you’ve been part of our story. While we can’t wait to celebrate our love, we also want to celebrate the role each of you has played in our journey.
